"My name is Danny Lane. I have trained in the martial arts for 56 years.

I started training in the United States Marine Corps in 1968.

I continued my training in 1970 as a Cop, after my return from Vietnam.

In 1971 I met a Korean Master and started training privately with him in Tae Kwon Do -Tang Soo Do.

I soon became addicted to the art and within a year became a Black Belt and owner of the studio.

I have trained constantly ever since, accomplishing high ranking black belts in 7 different styles.

I met Chuck Norris in 1980 and started training with him regularly for many years.

I have been training with him since we first met for 42 years.

I have learned hundreds of techniques from all the different styles.

I was eager to learn everything I could from the world's best in all the arts.

Needless to say, my mind got confused with all the different approaches from all the different styles to the same self defense situation.

But, CONFUSION is NOT what you want in a real life and death situation.

As I look back at all the situations I faced in combat as a Marine and a Cop, I only used a handful of techniques to neutralize the situation.

I used techniques that I had confidence in and knew that worked.

The techniques used in my system are FAST to learn, EASY to comprehend and EFFECTIVE in REAL situations.

MINDSET is the most important thing a person can learn.

That is why a STREET FIGHTER or CRIMINAL is so dangerous. They intend to hurt you or kill you anyway he or she can.

Again, the physical techniques are secondary to your mindset.

This is WHY I developed the ‘Danny Lane Fighting System."
